LUX Technical announces acquisition of White Production Design
Will significantly expand service offerings, equipment inventory, and technical delivery expertise of LUX Technical Group
LUX Technical, one of the UK’s leading creative and digital production companies, is delighted to announce its acquisition of Peterborough-based equipment rental and event production company, White Production Design (White PD). The merging of the two companies will create LUX Technical Group and marks the beginning of the next exciting chapter in the company’s development and growth strategy. The acquisition is effective from 20th June 2024.
The announcement sees White PD’s founder, Andy White, joining the senior management team of the LUX Technical Group, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and industry experience. The acquisition brings additional benefits for both sets of clients, with LUX clients benefiting from White PD’s design and set building facilities, including CNC machining, access to the expansive equipment inventory, and Andy’s wealth of knowledge. White PD clients will benefit from the digital services, CAD design, and in-house visualisation solutions offered by the LUX team. Key contacts and warehouse locations remain unchanged. Commenting on the announcement, Andy White said: “Our first priority is to ensure that White PD clients continue to receive the same high levels of personal service we have delivered since founding the business in 2016, but now with additional administrative and operational support from the wider LUX Group.”
