The Sony PDW F800 is a broadcast grade CineAlta camcorder with 2/3-inch Power HAD™ FX progressive CCDs. The F800 includes variable frame rate recording for slow and quick motion capabilities, allowing directors to build unique “looks” for their productions or to create special effects. The camera records to Sony’s ‘Optical Professional Disc™’ media and our cameras are also supplied with a Black Magic Design Video-Assist 4k, adding monitoring and dual SD card recording to the package.

Designed for use in a wide range of applications the F800 has a rich feature set and a generous bank of connections. The B4 lens mount allows the use of all standard ENG lenses. As standard our cameras are supplied with a Canon J21 lens. The kit includes focus & zoom demands along with mains power-supply and batteries.

The Sony PDW F800 is ideal for live event production applications such as awards ceremonies, and broadcast events such as webcasts. WhitePD specialise in plug-and-play packages of audio, lighting and video for the corporate and fashion events industry.
