Primarily used for electric guitar and percussion, the Sennheiser Evolution E906 is an incredibly lively dynamic instrument microphone featuring a supercardioid polar pattern ensuring isolation from background noise. This versatile mic can be used in all situations from gentle acoustic to heavier, more aggressive, playing environments.
The shock mounted capsule features a hum compensating coil eliminating any unwanted hum or buzz. The E906 also features a switchable presence filter, allowing sound engineers to adjust the sound characteristics depending on the application needs. The flat shape of the E906 allows sound engineers to simply hang the microphone in front of guitar cabs, saving on mic stands and reducing stage clutter.
