The D2 is a dynamic instrument microphone used for stage, studio, and broadcast applications. It is designed with a hypercardioid pickup pattern for isolation and feedback control and is equipped with a VLM™ (Very Low Mass) diaphragm for nuanced and characterful sound reproduction.
Weighing in at just 128 grammes the D2’s lightweight design make it a versatile and excellent choice for miking instruments with a percussive nature such as rack toms, congas, saxophones, guitar cabinets and brass. Transformerless design, low impedance and balanced output insure that the D2 hypercardioid instrument microphone will perform interference-free.
Built to last, the D2 is manufactured with a precision machined aliminium body, durable black anodized finish, dent resistant steel mesh grill and gold-plated XLR connector
