The Black Magic Design Multiview 4 is a compact yet highly capable interface. It takes up to 4 x SDI inputs and displays them on one output. The inputs accept a wide range of SDI signal types and can be a mixed combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD. Each input also has a re-clocked loop-through to save on external distribution amplifiers. The multiview output is on both UHD-SDI and 4k HDMI connectors, which work concurrently, so the unit can feed two displays without the need for additional converters.
Control of the settings for the unit can be either via the front panel, which features a jog dial, 6 buttons and LCD display or via the Black Magic Design control software. The ethernet control port on the rear of the unit can also receive POE to power the device.
