The Black Magic Design Video Assist 4k is a highly featured tool for video production and live events use. It features a large touch-screen display and numerous connectivity options. The Video Assist is a monitor, scope, recorder and playback device all in 1. Connections include a full size SDI input and output, stereo analog audio input, HDMI input and output and a headphone socket.
It can be powered either by an external power supply, on board batteries or via a v-lock cable adaptor. When plugged into the mains it will also charge the two batteries mounted to it. It features two SD card slots for recording and playback allowing for redundant cards to be used.
The Black Magic Design Video Assist 4k includes points for attaching brackets, clamps and arms so it can be securely mounted on a camera or tripod. These units are available on a dry-hire basis or as part of complete camera and broadcast packages for events and web streaming.
