The CDJ-2000 NXS2 features a full colour 7″ touchscreen enabling fast browsing and detailed track information, alongside 8 colour coded hot cues, MIDI controller interface and fractional beat quantise. The 96kHz sound card offers high-res sound reproduction. Playable files include WAV, AIF, FLAC, ALAC, MP3 and AAC giving the user the ability to play with formats from all Apple and Android devices.

With added features like the needle countdown, which allows the operator to touch any point in the track and receive an accurate number of beats they are from the end of the track, and the keyword search option browsing has never been this fast. Users are also able to switch between browse mode and settings easily with the addition of a shortcut button. Another innovative added extra is the Fractional beat Quantise, giving the option between 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 beat quantise for more precision and accuracy.
