The D&B Y12 is a high performance 2-way passive line array loudspeaker. They can be either flown or ground-stacked using the dedicated D&B rigging hardware. In standard mode the Y12 has a frequency response of 54Hz to 19kHz with a 400/1600W power handling capacity. It can be used with either our D20 or D80 amplifier and produces a max SPL of 139dB.
The Y12 features 2 x 8″ drivers with neodymium magnets for transferring a vibrant and transparent performance and a 1.4″ exit compression driver that delivers precise and velvety high frequencies. The sophisticated horn geometry has a nominal dispersion of 120 degrees and coupled with the bass-reflex port design offers full bandwidth capabilities with and extended LF output. The design of these high performance line array modules enables vertical arrays of up to 24 speakers with splay angles from 0 to 14 with a 1 degree resolution.
The all-encompassing Y-Series combines broadband directivity control with superb LF performance and a compact, unobtrusive design.
