The MGP16X is a 16-channel mixing console featuring 10 mic inputs. It also has 4 GROUP Buses and 2 AUX sends alongside 2 FX sends. The MGP16X has two stereo hybrid channels that feature a ducker, auto leveller and stereo image DSP. Two digital effects processors from Yamaha’s REV-X and SPX FX have been included with the Yamaha MGP16X.
The compact nature of the MGP16X has allowed Yamaha to take an innovative new approach to the use of digital technology within an analogue mixer, adding convincing modelled vintage analogue EQ, iPod/iPhone integration and their new Stereo Hybrid Channel to the warmth of premium analog sound. The D-PRE mic pre-amps deliver a great sound quality. This, coupled with musical EQ and studio-grade effects take the MGP above any other mixers in its class.
