Steel wire ropes are used for variety of lifting and suspension applications. We hold two grades of steel wire in our stock to suit different load requirements. Both styles are manufactured from 7×19 steel wire with a hard eye at each end. The quoted WLL has a 5:1 safety factor.
Both thicknesses of steel are black and we keep a variety of lengths to suit a range of applications and truss sizes. In addition to these steels we also stock GAC Flex and polyester round-slings.
These wires are generally used for truss safeties, motor drifts and bridles. All our lifting gear is tested and documented on a 6-monthly program by API inspections.
