The Black Magic Design SDI to HDMI is a broadcast quality interface from the mini converter range. It is used to convert SDI signals to HDMI and it automatically detects the SDI video format. Video inputs can be SD or HD SDI and it has a video sampling rate of 4:2:2 and 4:4:4.
The SDI to HDMI mini converter features redundant SDI inputs. System reliability is improved by running a 2nd SDI cable as a back up, in case the first cable or signal fails. The compact design of the mini converters mean they can be used anywhere, and the built in multi function switches allows users to simply change settings during operation. Analog/AES audio outputs are included making this unit handy for de-embedding SDI audio.
