The Black Magic Design HDMI to SDI micro converter is a broadcast quality interface. It is used to convert HDMI to SDI in any combination of SD and HD formats up to 1080p60. It automatically switches between standard definition and high definition. The video output matches to SD, HD or 3G-SDI HDMI and both SDI and HDMI colour precision are 4:2:2.
The HDMI to SDI is compatible with almost all professional broadcast equipment and is easily powered via USB or power supply. The micro converters have a more compact footprint than the range of mini converters however they produce the same excellent results. The SDI re-clocking feature will regenerate the SDI video input, reduce SDI jitter and improve SDI eye pattern before the signal reaches the converter’s processing.
