The Black Magic Design Micro Converter, Bi Directional, is a professional two way interface. It can simultaneously convert SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI. It automatically detects if signals are SD or HD and it adjusts accordingly. The unit is ultra-compact and very reliable.
The compact design and USB power socket on the Bi Directional converter make it an ideal unit for mounting to the back of large format displays (from which it can take power over USB). When using multiple displays as relay & repeater screens this converter allows the use of cost effective and reliable SDI signal distribution systems.
