Our 3-pin XLR 8-way looms are manufactured using Direct Cable Systems Evolution AES multipair cable, Neutrik connectors and Hellerman professional sleeving components throughout. The looms, as with all of our cabling, are all built in-house to ensure reliability and consistency. 8-way XLR looms are perfect for connecting multiple bits of audio kit together and also help to minimise clutter and speed up set-ups.
XLR stands for “External Line Return” and the connectors were first invented to standardise the connection for most audio equipment such as microphones, mixing desks, speakers and amplifiers. Another one of those – same time tomorrow!
These looms, as with all our cabling, are recoiled and inspected every time they come back to the warehouse so are always squeaky clean and ready to go. Whitepd have a fully stocked rental department covering sound, lighting, video, rigging, LED walls, set and staging.
